To anyone in the medical field: Is medical microbiology difficult?

I'm taking it over the summer (a 6 week class) and would just like to be mentally prepared. What exactly will I be learning? What is most challenging about it? I'm an aspiring nurse so I find subjects like this highly interesting, however, I must admit I'm slightly freaked about taking it.
