Questions about being a vet?

I would like to now what it is like to be E.V.N ,equine veterinary surgeon or a small animal veterinary nurse/surgeon.What work experience should i do.And what A levels do you need (do you have to do all the sciences) and does extra stuff like France and art help you get places in collages?
