Newborn puppy having trouble feeding? tips on what or how?

My cousin's 11 month old dog just had her baby, she hasn't been ignoring it an the baby is breathing fine. its just having trouble nursing since the mother is so fidgety and so is the baby. i try to put the baby by the mother's nipple but he wont open his mouth. Help im worried ..if you can show me a video on dog birth please do so!
