Is it worth it to get the Cobra S2 Max Driver over the normal Cobra S2?

I don't want to spend the money on a new S3 so I was thinking an S2. I have a slice but it keeps getting better every time I play. If I get the Max and I correct my swing won't the max just screw it up? What should I do!?
