Is there a way to get her back on the insurance?

Ok my husband's previous wife was to remain on his health insurance. Well the company says they didn't recieve the final decree within 60 days, nut they did but they somehow got lost. We sent them again and they said that they got them. this all within the 60 days he had. Well it has been 6 months and yesterday we get notice my husband is in cotempt of court for not providing insurance for her, We call them and they said they never recieved the final declaration of divorce that order him to provide insurance which we sent in. We have no proof we sent it in other then our words, and it too late to put her on now or to get her on COBRA. We have less then 28 days til we have to go back across country to Mississippi to be in court and we can't even get an attorney. What are our options?
