How do I get my girlfriend to realize that she should get her car serviced?

I noticed she has been really beating up her car. I want to say go easy on it and it makes so many clanking noises. The other day she was jamming her flat boot on the brake like six times to get it to stop. How can I tell her nicely to get this car serviced....
